About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at SPAR Allaway Avenue. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing your team to deliver excellent customer service and store standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of retail professionals to achieve sales targets and maintain store standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, stock control, and cash handling.
  • Monitor and control store costs, including labor costs, inventory costs, and overheads.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
