Job Overview:

Veeva Systems, Inc. is a leader in cloud-based solutions for life sciences companies. We are seeking a highly experienced Veeva Vault Expert to support our customers in maximizing the value of our Clinical Data Management System (CDMS). As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with customers to optimize their study trial design and ensure seamless integration with Veeva's applications.

About the Role

You will lead requirements-gathering sessions, develop specification documents, and configure Veeva products during project development. Your expertise in data management will be instrumental in driving project success and delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert in data management, providing guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Leverage your knowledge of EDC systems to optimize database design, data collection, and data analysis.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, serving as a trusted advisor and resource.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other Veeva applications.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in end-to-end data management-related activities in EDC, including database design, data collection, data analysis, query resolution, datasets, and statistical reporting.
  • Experience in interpreting clinical protocols and translating requirements into software specifications.
  • Strong understanding of data management standards and guidelines, including GCDMP, CDISC, SDTMIG, and CDASH.
  • Proven track record of meeting project timelines and deliverables.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (may include international trips).
Nice to Have
  • Hands-on data management experience.
  • Experience working with system integrators for IVRS, medical coding, eSource, CTMS, eTMF, and other clinical technologies.
  • Life Science or computer science degree.
  • Fluency in one or more of the following languages: German, French, Spanish, Italian.
