Landscape Officer

Maidstone Borough Council is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join its Heritage, Landscape and Trees team. As a Landscape Officer, you will play a key role in protecting and enhancing the Borough's richly diverse and valued landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Dealing with tree and hedge applications, protecting trees, and advising on arboricultural matters
- Providing guidance on the impacts and effects of new development on the landscape
- Taking enforcement action where necessary
- Collaborating with partners and customers to achieve environmental protection and new development proposals
We are looking for an experienced and professionally qualified Arboriculturist who can provide detailed advice and evidence on a wide range of tree issues. You will need to have a degree and professional qualification in Arboriculture, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prepare and present expert evidence.
