Landscape Officer

Maidstone Borough Council is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Heritage, Landscape and Trees team. As a Landscape Officer, you will play a key role in shaping the growth of our borough while respecting its character and heritage.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of tree and hedge applications, protecting trees and advising on arboricultural matters.
- Provide guidance on the impacts and effects of new development on the landscape.
- Take enforcement action where necessary to protect the environment.
- Collaborate with partners and customers to achieve high-quality design and environmental protection.
We are looking for an experienced and professionally qualified Arboriculturist with a degree and professional qualification in Arboriculture. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to prepare and present expert evidence at Committee meetings, court hearings, and public inquiries.
