We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our team at Auto Skills UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and motivating our team of Service Technicians, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and ensuring the efficient operation of our workshop.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and motivate a team of Service Technicians to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by implementing quality checks, resolving issues, and providing information and advice.
- Supervise daily time keeping and manage authorised absence to ensure consistent attendance.
- Maintain relationships with vehicle manufacturers and provide technical information for Technicians during repair operations.
- Comply with Health & Safety regulations and ensure high standards of housekeeping and security are achieved and maintained.
- Prior experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Foreman, HGV Technician, or Workshop Supervisor.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage a workshop.
- Well-developed management and leadership skills.
- A working knowledge of automotive technology, warranty systems, and the brand.
- Ability to exceed targets and deadlines.
- A full, valid, and clean UK driving license.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office.
