Service Technician/Engineer - Mechanical

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician/Engineer to join our team in Aberdeenshire. As a key member of our Field Operations team, you will be responsible for providing installation, inspection, commissioning, service, fault-finding, repair, and upgrade support to our customers on various types of topside and subsea drilling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site support and advice to customers on all matters relating to the operation of our equipment.
  • Deliver high-quality technical support and services to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare fully for each assignment, ensuring work scope is understood and adhered to, documentation has been prepared, and necessary drawings collated prior to mobilisation.
  • Act as our focal point on site, communicating accurate information in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate technical reports for each assignment.
  • Ensure all pertinent information is fully documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical qualification and ideally experience in a similar environment or working with hydraulic or drilling equipment.
  • Ability to travel globally, both onshore and offshore, and often within tight turnarounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
