Job Title: Hydraulic Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our team at DATS Recruitment Ltd in Aberdeen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the service and repair of truck-mounted and offshore containerised winches, diesel-driven power packs, compressors, telescopic and folding wireline masts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Service and repair pneumatic/hydraulic systems as per designs/procedures, ensuring the cleanliness of hydraulic systems is always maintained.
  • Monitor and control maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve assembly of company products through specific techniques and innovative idea generation.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and follow all risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in hydraulic system service and repair.
  • Strong understanding of blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols.
