Job Title: Hydraulic Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Service Technician to join our client's team in Aberdeen on a permanent basis.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the service, repair, and testing of truck-mounted and offshore containerised winches, diesel-driven power packs, compressors, and telescopic and folding wireline masts.

You will support and improve the assembly of company products through specific techniques and innovative idea generation, as well as creative and efficient problem-solving.

Additionally, you will support and assist your colleagues where required, report any health and safety improvements and infringements, and stop any operations deemed unsafe immediately reporting them to your line manager.

You will follow all risk assessments and participate in all safety initiatives.

It is essential that the quality of your work is to the highest standard, with a focus on delivering right-first-time results on time.

Local visits to client premises will be required to carry out calibrations and repairs.

You will also be expected to support key initiatives such as on-time delivery, schedule attainment, and cost of quality.

Be prepared to work a reasonable amount of overtime as required to suit the operational demands of the business.

A time-served apprenticeship in HGV/Plant Mechanics is highly desirable.

Key requirements include:

  • A background in a mechanical-based profession
  • Forklift and Overhead Crane Certificates (desirable)
