Job Title: Diesel Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Service Technician to join our team in Kintore. As a Diesel Service Technician, you will be responsible for the service and repair of truck mounted and offshore containerised winches, diesel driven power packs, compressors, and telescopic and folding wireline masts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Service and repair of pneumatic/hydraulic systems as per design specifications.
  • Support and improve assembly of NOV ISE products through specific techniques as well as innovative idea generation and creative, efficient problem solving.
  • Support and assist colleagues where required and report any health and safety improvements and infringements, stopping any operations deemed to be unsafe immediately and reporting these to your line manager.
  • Follow all risk assessments and participate in all safety initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Experience in diesel service and repair.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
