Community Mental Health Director

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished individual to fill the role of Community Mental Health Director within our organization. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to lead and shape mental health services for older adults, making a meaningful impact on patient care and outcomes.
About the Role:
- This is a senior leadership position that requires strong vision and direction.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in community mental health services, with a focus on older adults.
- An excellent understanding of commissioning processes and locality plans is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and shape mental health services for older adults, ensuring effective service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans to improve service delivery and efficiency.
- Ensure effective representation of mental health services at key strategic development forums.
Requirements:
- Evidence of continued professional development to postgraduate diploma level.
- Substantial experience in community mental health services, with a focus on older adults.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
Location: Tameside General Hospital, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6 9RW.
