We are excited to announce the recruitment of an Educator for Students with Complex Needs at Thrive Group As an experienced educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational support and guidance to students aged 11-19 with Autism and associated learning differences.

About the Role

This is a full-time teaching position on a temp to permanent contract, requiring a qualified educator with a passion for working with students with complex disabilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. To develop and implement individualised education plans tailored to each student's needs and abilities.
  2. To collaborate with colleagues to promote inclusion and provide equal opportunities for all students to participate in school life.
  3. To create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters positive relationships between students and educators.
  4. To utilise evidence-based strategies and approaches to manage behaviour effectively and promote student well-being.

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. A recognised teaching qualification, with a minimum of 2 years' experience working with students with Autism and associated learning differences.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  3. Demonstrated ability to use ICT effectively in educational settings, with a strong understanding of educational technology and its applications.
  4. Good levels of literacy and numeracy, with the ability to write and communicate effectively.

Remuneration and Benefits

As an employee of Thrive Group, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum (pro rata), dependent on experience and qualifications.
