Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Kapital 7 Recruitment. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet consistent standards of quality, aligning with customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement quality policies and procedures to maintain high standards
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements to integrate best practices into the quality management system
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and certifications
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Provide expert advice on quality-related issues and act as the primary point of contact for quality matters
  • Analyze data and utilize KPIs to identify improvements in all areas of quality, customer, supplier, and internal performance
  • Implement corrective actions and monitor the effectiveness of improvements
  • Perform regular internal audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards
  • Maintain the Rospa Gold award status and management systems, processes, and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
  • Update the CMS (Customer Management System) and investigate and identify areas of non-conformance
  • Chair meetings with department heads to identify root cause and corrective actions for timely conclusions
  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques and six sigma methodologies to optimize quality, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce costs related to defects and inefficiencies
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality
  • Develop and manage risk management plans to ensure product reliability and effectiveness
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality assurance and HSE professionals
  • Guide and support on all compliance matters involving legislation, changes, and HSE/Government updates
  • Undertake duties in accordance with all relevant management systems and controls

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Quality Management
  • Experience of working in an environment that conforms to management standards, such as ISO 9001/ISO 14001
  • Proven experience delivering operational excellence and continuous improvement projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing industry
  • Ability to demonstrate a proven track record in the use of quality tools, such as 8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, Root cause, Kaizen/Six Sigma, and 5Y associated quality tools
