Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and Special Education Coordinators to implement individualised education plans and create an inclusive and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to support students with diverse learning needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans.
  • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups based on their learning requirements.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their well-being and engagement.
  • Collaborate with parents and other professionals to ensure a holistic support system.
  • Support the implementation of behavior management strategies.
Requirements:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual with:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in supporting students with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting student success.
  • Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team.
