About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Design and Branding Specialist to join our team at Barons Eden - Head Office. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality visual content that enhances the guest experience and promotes our brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Visual Content: Create engaging and effective visual content for various platforms, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and digital advertisements.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team: Work closely with the creative team to develop and execute on-site photoshoots, assist in planning and execution, and ensure the quality and consistency of on-site materials.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Design Trends: Stay informed about current design trends and competitor outputs to keep our brand's creative work relevant and competitive.
  • Artwork and Materials: Create and artwork materials following brand guidelines, contributing to ongoing brand evolution and consistency.
Requirements
  • Design Experience: Minimum of 2 years of design experience in an agency or in-house environment.
  • Digital Design Skills: Demonstrated experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Typography and Layout: Strong understanding of typography and layout, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Print Process: Solid knowledge of the print process, including the ability to confidently liaise with printers when necessary.
  • Brand Guidelines: Comfort and experience in working within established brand guidelines to produce consistent and on-brand materials for various properties.
  • Communication Skills: The confidence and clarity to effectively communicate ideas and present work to team members and stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills, coupled with the ability to independently manage workload and meet deadlines.
