Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Architect to join our team at Freejam. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading the technical direction of our projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, technical requirements, and overall project scope.
  • Code Quality: Ensure that all code meets high standards of quality, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of talented programmers, providing regular feedback and coaching to help them grow in their careers.
  • Technical Decision-Making: Make informed technical decisions that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including Product, Project Management, and Engineering, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Unity 3D, C#, and ECS DOTS, as well as modern infrastructure technologies such as AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Leadership Experience: A strong track record of leading teams and making technical decisions that drive business outcomes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: A proven ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions.
