Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for a senior market-facing leader to own and help achieve the revenue targets of our exciting and ambitious new products in the UK. The successful candidate will be part of a lean markets organisation and expected to 'do & think', transitioning from detailed to big-picture thinking activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business initiatives and customer acquisition in the UK, requiring well-rounded knowledge of the Private Banking & Wealth management industry and marketplace in the region.
  • Demonstrate authority on market trends, best practices, competitive practices, regulatory issues, etc.

Key Aspects of the Role:

  • An insatiable hunger to find, create, and win new business.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate market and customer segment attractiveness and potential.
  • Create and drive pipeline by identifying, matching, and engaging Financial Institutions in Private Banking, Wealth, and Asset Management with our new proposition.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the region, including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors.
  • Drive events and raise the profile of Avaloq and its new proposition within the region.
  • Generate demand, high conversion rates, short sales cycle, and high win ratio.

Qualifications:

  • Strong proven track record of Sales leadership in the Wealth and Core Banking Industry, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, good business sense, and strong leadership with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and ability to negotiate complex deals.
  • Proven financial Acumen: Use financial analysis to make decisions, evaluate opportunities, and choices; know how financial decisions impact business success.
  • Strong influencing capability and a collaborative and partnership-oriented approach.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Global experience is an added advantage – in particular in Europe.
  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA a plus.
