About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Trading team at WWT Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, promoting our products and services, and contributing to the overall success of our retail and catering operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for all visitors to our Wetland Centre, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service standards.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services, and use this knowledge to inform and enhance our visitors' experience.
  • Proactively upsell and promote our products and services to maximise sales and revenue.
  • Contribute to the effective management of stock levels, including receiving deliveries and participating in stock takes.
  • Adhere to our cash handling procedures and effectively use our epos system.
  • Promote our organisation and its mission to drive membership sales and support our conservation efforts.
  • Work collaboratively across our visitor services, retail, and catering departments to meet the needs of our organisation.

What We're Looking For:

  • A proven passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to meeting the needs of our visitors.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to different roles and responsibilities, and to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education to GCSE level or equivalent, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
