About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environment Advisor to join our team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our Central Business Unit, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement industry-leading health, safety, and environmental strategies, policies, and initiatives to minimize risk and maximize performance.
- Promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness throughout the organization, consistent with our company values.
- Collaborate with operational staff to ensure design, construction, installation, and commissioning processes are managed to achieve high levels of safety performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security strategies, policies, and initiatives to minimize security risk.
Requirements:
- Relevant health, safety, and environmental experience in a similar industry.
- NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate.
- Member of IOSH (TechIOSH as a minimum) or IIRSM.
- GDPR Awareness Training.
- Appropriate CSCS Card.
