Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our Housing Division in Chelmsford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional account servicing support and ensuring effective servicing of client accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide account servicing support and ensure effective servicing of client accounts
- Work with experienced Account Managers & Directors to provide outstanding service to clients
- Create documents for new customers, including mid-term adjustments and renewals information
- Ensure accurate recording of customer details and timely entry into the system
- Obtain renewal terms for customers and explore alternative options
- Prepare renewal closings from meeting minutes and ensure cover is bound by renewal date
- Manage insurer and customer queries about policies
- Confirm cover with insurers, process policies, and chase outstanding documentation
- Deal with account queries and credit control matters, highlighting any concerns
- Apply fundamental legal and regulatory policy in relation to internal policies and the insurance contract
We are looking for a Commercial insurance professional with a strong background in account management and customer service. You will have a Chartered Insurance Institute qualification, such as Cert CII or Dip CII, and be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent. You will also have experience working to targets within a regulated framework and achieving SLAs.
