Account Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our Housing Division in Chelmsford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional account servicing support and ensuring effective servicing of client accounts.

About the Role

As an Account Manager, you will work closely with experienced Account Managers and Directors to provide outstanding service to our clients in the commercial space. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating documents for new customers, including mid-term adjustments and renewals information
  • Ensuring accurate recording of customer details and timely entry onto our system
  • Obtaining renewal terms for customers and exploring alternative options
  • Preparing renewal closings from meeting minutes and ensuring cover is bound by renewal date
  • Managing insurer and customer queries about policies
  • Confirming cover with relevant insurers and processing policies
  • Dealing with account queries and credit control matters
About You

We are looking for a Commercial Insurance professional with a strong background in account management and customer service. You will have:

  • Commercial insurance knowledge and experience
  • Holding or working towards a Chartered Insurance Institute qualification (Cert CII/Dip CII)
  • GCSE standard or equivalent education
  • Experience working to targets within a regulated framework and achieving SLAs
  • Excellent communication and social skills, with a focus on rapport-building and customer service
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
