Electrical Controls Engineer - Manufacturing

Are you an Electrical Engineer with experience in PLC programming and design? Are you interested in joining a leading manufacturing company that will pay for external training courses to fast track your development into senior engineering roles within the business?

Due to continued growth and the securing of major contracts, our client is looking to hire an Electrical Engineer that will be the 'go to' engineer within the business, for all control system related tasks.

The successful candidate will be involved in the manufacture, modification and repair of electrical / electronic control systems. You will be working on first-class, bespoke equipment within a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Full product training will be provided.

You will be working with high-profile clients across some of the most regulated engineering sectors such as Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear and Marine.

This is an exciting role for a motivated candidate, looking to progress their career within a well-established company at the forefront of their sector. You will have the opportunity to increase your earning potential through overtime, which will be paid at x1.5 on weekdays and Saturday mornings, plus overtime paid at double time on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.

The Role:

• Manufacture, modification and repair of electrical / electronic control systems

• System and software design

• Using CAD to create or amend schematics

• Providing technical support to the engineering team

• Prototyping

• Testing

• Project management

The Candidate:

• Holds a relevant qualification in electrical / electronic engineering

• Experience designing and programming control systems

• Interested in developing into a lead engineering role within the business and becoming the 'go to' controls engineer

• Lives a commutable distance from the manufacturing facility
