Are you passionate about education and dedicated to supporting students with Special Education Needs (SEN)? Five Education Recruitment Limited invites applications for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Bournemouth.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with children and young people, providing individualized support and making a positive impact on their lives.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual who can establish strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. The successful candidate will have experience working with children who display challenging behaviour and be able to provide emotional support and de-escalation techniques.

About the Role:

This 5-day-per-week, term-time-only position involves supporting students in a class setting and around the school. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt lessons to meet the needs of students, making learning fun and enjoyable.

Key Requirements:

  • 2 years' worth of relevant references, including one from a recent paid or volunteer role working with children or vulnerable adults
  • A valid DBS/Police check
  • Ability to work between two to five days per week
