Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line technical support to employees via phone, email, or ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Assist users with login problems, password resets, and account setups
  • Log, track, and escalate issues using our ticketing system
  • Prioritize incidents based on severity and impact on business operations
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Manage software applications via MDM and RMM tools
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity for wired and wireless connections
  • Set up and configure routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions
  • Create and update knowledge base articles
  • Provide training on IT systems and applications
  • Promote IT security and data protection best practices
  • Work with IT team members to resolve complex issues
  • Communicate with end-users to gather necessary information for issue resolution
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a 1st/2nd Line Support Technician or similar role
  • Knowledge of Windows device management and Active Directory
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Customer-oriented with a patient and positive attitude
  • Willingness to travel for vessel mobilization as needed
  • Ability to work independently
