About the Role

Prior's Court Foundation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Support Worker to join our team. As a Specialist Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting autistic young people with complex needs to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each young person.
  • Provide high-quality support and care to young people, promoting their independence, happiness, and skills development.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a consistent and predictable environment that supports positive behavior and learning.
  • Utilize a range of strategies, including sensory integration therapy, to support young people with sensory differences.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Prior's Court Learning Framework, ensuring that it is tailored to meet the needs of each young person.

Requirements

  • Experience working with autistic individuals and complex needs.
  • Strong understanding of autism best practice and methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
