Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Care Service Coordinator to join our team at VSA. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and contributing to the provision of quality services to meet the needs of our service users.

About the Role:
  • Salary: £15.01-£15.51 per hour (dependent on qualifications)

In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for promoting and utilizing effective communication with individual staff members and service users on a wide range of matters, including those of a complex or sensitive nature. You will also oversee and participate in the maintenance of accurate recording systems and reports to meet agreed standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Providing Support: Supporting service users in their daily living, according to their recognized and agreed needs, providing personal care where necessary.
  2. Maintaining Accurate Records: Maintaining accurate recording systems and reports to meet agreed standards.
  3. Coordinating Activities: Coordinating activities in the workplace and ensuring that services are delivered to the highest standard.
  4. Working Safely: Monitoring the provision of a safe and protective environment by complying with health, safety and security procedures.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: SCQF Level 6 in Social Services & Healthcare or other options as prescribed by SSSC
  • Experience: Experience in the care sector and record keeping
  • Skills: Developed communication skills, organizational skills, accuracy and basic IT skills
