Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Salary: £54,000-£56,000 + Overtime Available

Paid time 1⁄4 Hours: Days Only (Panama Shift 2-2-3)

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

The Client:

A leading clean food manufacturer based in Corby is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent night shift basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and equipment.

Duties:
  1. Electrical & Mechanical fault finding & rectification on production machinery
  2. Conducting planned and preventative maintenance
  3. Following health and safety policies and procedures
  4. Collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the plant
  5. Carrying out repairs on Conveyors & automated machinery in a timely manner
  6. Ensuring Tool & Storage Room is organised & has an up to date inventory list
  7. Ensuring a clean & organised work space to maintain a healthy working environment
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience as a maintenance engineer in a FMCG, Food Manufacturing or Automated environment
  2. Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Fault Finding, Repair and Maintenance experience (Relays, Sensors, Motors, Gearboxes, Conveyors, Pneumatic systems)
  3. Knowledge/Experience of electrical systems (PLC's, Control Panels and testing) is advantageous
  4. Ability to work alone & as part of a team
  5. Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds 1-3, NVQ 1-3, 17th or 18th Wiring Regulations)
  6. willing to learn and collaborate with engineers to share knowledge
