Maintenance Engineer Job Description

CV Consulting Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out reactive maintenance tasks, including electrical and mechanical repairs, to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Conduct risk assessments, permit to work, and root cause analysis to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding, including PLC troubleshooting.
Requirements:
  • High standard of electrical and mechanical knowledge, with a bias towards electrical engineering.
  • Apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC, HND, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
