About the Role

The Aurora Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Caterham Education Centre. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs, promoting their cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish a warm and supportive relationship with students, enabling them to feel safe and engaged in their learning.
  • Promote independence and personal development, encouraging students to reach their full potential.
  • Support the Class Teacher in all aspects of classroom management and instruction.
  • Respond to the diverse needs of the school, adapting to tasks and responsibilities as required.
  • Some physical intervention may be necessary, and full training will be provided.
