Senior Digital PR Executive

We're seeking an experienced Senior Digital PR Executive to join our growing team at Embryo in Manchester. As a key member of our digital agency, you'll be responsible for leading strategies on smaller accounts, generating relevant coverage through campaigns, newsjacking, and press office tactics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute successful Digital PR campaigns that drive website traffic and rankings
  • Monitor the news agenda to identify newsjacking opportunities and craft compelling pitches
  • Ghostwrite quotes and comments on behalf of clients and maintain strong relationships with journalists
  • Draft press releases, conduct data analysis, and brief creative teams
  • Work closely with SEO teams to ensure cohesive channel strategies
  • Manage smaller accounts, including day-to-day activities and campaign delivery
  • Converse with clients, send updates, and attend meetings as needed
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in PR, either in an agency or in-house
  • Strong understanding of Digital PR tactics and the modern media landscape
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and a willingness to learn more
  • Curiosity about current affairs, breaking news, and trend cycles
  • Creative flair and ability to think outside the box
  • Excellent communication and grammar skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead internal meetings
