Job Summary:
A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Production Engineer to join our team at Affinity Water. As a key member of our production operations team, you will provide technical leadership and expertise to drive the delivery of capital and operational projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and support to production teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Develop and implement asset optimization strategies to improve operational performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and deliver capital projects that meet business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including CDM and company procedures.
- Participate in safety studies and investigation meetings to identify and mitigate risks.
- Provide technical coaching and mentoring to frontline teams to enhance fault finding, optimization, and controlled changes.
- Drive efficiency through the identification and delivery of optimization schemes.
- Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) on projects.
- Provide visible leadership to the team and the business through area initiatives, site tours, and inspections.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues from across the business to deliver business objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent.
- Proven experience in an engineering role, possessing broad technical skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter, capable of working alone and as part of a project team.
- Understanding of asset management processes and whole life costing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to participate in the Duty Production Lead standby rota.
- Full UK driving license.

- Hours of work: Operational - 08:00am - 16:00pm (Monday - Thursday) 08:00am - 15:30pm (Friday)
