R&D Engineer - Product Development

Job Overview

Our R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams are responsible for product development and qualification from market definition through production and release. They assist in supplier qualification, conduct feasibility studies and testing, and provide product documentation, including Solid Models, 2D/3D production drawings, and product specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Define project objectives, scope, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Outline budgets and track costs to ensure on-budget delivery.
  • Oversee project delivery according to the plan.
  • Provide regular project status reports to key stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Oversight of Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety functions.
  • Contract Review and Emax ERP system updating.
  • Complaint investigations and corrective actions.
  • NPI Project lead, including Legacy NPI lead.
Requirements
  • SolidWorks CAD experience (5+ years ideally).
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge of various materials (metals, plastics, rubbers).
