Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN teaching assistant to support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) at CV-Library. As an educational support worker, you will play a vital role in promoting positive relationships and inclusive learning environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support to pupils with challenging behaviour and SEN. This will involve implementing proactive strategies to manage challenging behaviour, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere for all.
You will also supervise pupils during break and lunchtime periods, maintaining a watchful eye on their well-being and safety. Furthermore, you will foster strong connections with pupils, encouraging their learning and development through engaging activities and constructive feedback.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check is required.
- The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff is essential.
- A high level of enthusiasm, energy, and positivity when working with pupils is necessary.
This role comes with an estimated salary range of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
