Nursery Practitioner Role Overview

MP Training and Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Phoenix Day Nursery and Preschool in Brentwood, Essex. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with children aged 0-5 years, promoting their development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Promote the overall well-being and safety of children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  2. Develop and implement engaging activities tailored to each child's individual needs, encouraging their cognitive, language, and motor skills development.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in decision-making processes.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified Level 3 or above Early Years practitioner (essential)
  • Previous experience working with young children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, or similar)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with both colleagues and parents
