Children's Support Services Worker

We are seeking an experienced Senior Residential Childcare Worker to join our team at SGS Care Ltd. As a Senior Residential Childcare Worker, you will play a key role in ensuring the physical, intellectual, emotional, psychological, and social needs of the children in our care are consistently met to a high standard.
Main Responsibilities:- To provide high-quality therapeutic caregiving on a shift pattern, including days, evenings, waking nights, weekends, bank holidays, sleeping-in duties, and lone working (subject to risk assessment).
- To work closely with children and young people to understand their wishes and feelings about all aspects of their welfare, recording and acting upon this in their interest.
- To implement admission protocols to ensure that children feel welcomed and fully informed about what is expected of them and what they can expect from our organisation.
- To engage children and young people in developmentally appropriate activities to build their competence, confidence, and trust in adults.
- To attend all meetings as required to support children and young people and/or advocate for them to ensure their voice is heard and best outcomes achieved.

Benefits and Salary:The salary for this role is £33,000 per annum, with additional pay for up to 3 sleeps per month (£50 per sleep) and overtime opportunities. We also offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive team environment.
Requirements:- A Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent) or working towards this.
- A minimum of one year's experience in residential childcare or a related field.
- A UK driving licence is required.
