Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Coordination:
    • Organize and manage daily schedules for taxi drivers and routes.
    • Communicate with schools, parents, and drivers to confirm pick-up and drop-off times.
    • Adjust schedules as needed in response to changes or emergencies.
  • Compliance Management:
    • Ensure all drivers have up-to-date certifications and background checks.
    • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, insurance, and inspections.
    • Monitor compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
    • Maintain organized and up-to-date files and records.
    • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
  • Communication:
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for parents, drivers, and school staff.
    • Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to transportation services.
    • Provide clear and timely communication to all stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Time Management: Proven ability to handle a busy workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in all tasks, particularly in maintaining compliance records and scheduling.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and resolve issues quickly.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competence with Google Applications (Gmail, Calendar, and Drive) and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals, including children, parents, drivers, passenger assistants, and school staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within a transportation or school environment.
  • Knowledge of Compliance Requirements: Knowledge of compliance requirements for transportation services.
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp: Familiarity with WhatsApp as our preferred communication method.
