About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef to join our team at our new restaurant in Spalding. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dishes to our customers, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards, using fresh and high-quality ingredients.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that all dishes are prepared to spec and that the kitchen is running smoothly.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes, while maintaining our commitment to using real cooking methods and high-quality ingredients.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that every customer leaves happy and satisfied with their meal.
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the kitchen team to achieve our goals and maintain a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements
  • Previous kitchen experience, either as a Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant/Commis Chef, or a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work at pace with limited supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice when it comes to allergens, kitchen essentials, and food safety.
