Grounds Maintenance Operative - Team Lead

This is a permanent position with Manpower Group (UK), a leading provider of soft landscaping services and landscape creation projects. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative - Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the areas within your remit are kept to a high Contract standard, through good horticultural practice, management, and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives to maintain high-quality standards in horticultural practices and aesthetics.
  • Manage and maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Full valid UK Driving License.
  • Horticultural Qualification Level 2 or above.
  • Willingness to learn and open to training.
  • Experience in working in a busy team and providing a high-quality service.
  • Recent experience in a similar Grounds Maintenance role.
  • 28 days paid holiday (Pro Rata).
