Director of Quality Assurance
DNA Life Sciences is seeking a highly experienced Director of Quality Assurance to lead the development and implementation of quality standards, targets, and measures for our site QA function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the vision and strategy for the site QA function, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Establish and maintain quality standards, targets, and measures, and oversee performance metrics for the QA function.
- Ensure all products, processes, and operations meet regulatory requirements and commitments, including GMP and GDP regulations.
- Lead investigations of deviations and complaints to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) meets licensing requirements and current standards, and support the development and implementation of an electronic QMS.
- Lead the Quality Council and Change Management forums, and escalate issues as needed to senior management.
- Promote a culture of quality and compliance, ensuring QA processes are lean and efficient.
- Lead support for audits and inspections, ensuring the site is always inspection-ready.
- Review and approve reports, procedures, policies, and non-conformance data.
- Support the review and compilation of reports for regulatory submissions.
- Lead and engage QA teams, guiding them through change and ensuring a smooth transition.
Please note that this role requires a Qualified Person (QP) certification.
