Key Responsibilities- Provide expert nursing care to critically ill children, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practice and evidence-based guidelines.
- Participate in education and training initiatives, sharing your expertise with colleagues and contributing to the development of our nursing staff.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Paediatric Intensive Care, with a strong understanding of critical care principles and practices.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading and managing a team of nurses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, patients, and families.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as required.
