We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to join our team at Ward Security Limited in London.

Job Summary:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and confident individual to work as part of a dynamic security team, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for guarding access points, permitting or refusing entry, and restraining trespassers.
  • Conduct extensive foot patrols within defined areas, investigating and taking appropriate lawful action as authorized by corporate policy.
  • You will complete daily reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage, and signatures.
  • Carry out ID checks and be vigilant to Health and Safety risks.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to all levels – verbally, written, phone, and by security radios.
  • Work effectively as part of a team or on your own initiative.

Requirements:

  • Valid SIA license and CCTV license.
  • Proven work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position with a minimum of 1 year.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
  • IT literate – ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
