About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Joiner - Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Connect Transform Sustain (CTS), a leading facilities management company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality maintenance and repair of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues, clients, contractors, and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct thorough measurements and quality control checks to ensure work meets our high standards.
  • Act safely and adhere to all company health and safety protocols at all times.
  • Carry out repairs, reactive maintenance, and minor installation works within qualified work areas.
  • Diagnose and repair faults/issues with due regard to customer care.
  • Participate in a call-out rota as required.
  • Complete relevant paperwork and report diligently.
  • Deliver work to the high-quality standards expected by CTS.
  • Uphold data protection policies.
  • Travel across Northern Ireland and Ireland as required, with main work located in Greater Belfast and County Down.
  • Check the integrity of fire doors.

Health and Safety:

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policy at all times.
  • Report any accidents or issues regarding health and safety appropriately.
  • Ensure all risk assessments and safe systems of work are read, understood, signed, and followed.
  • Observe and follow all manual handling practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience in 1st and 2nd fix joinery (2nd fix predominantly), fitting wall and floor tiles, kitchen fitting, etc.
  • Completed trade apprenticeship.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Experience working at heights/roof repairs desirable.
  • Experience working on maintenance contracts/construction industry preferred.
