Key Skills and Qualifications:

Time-served apprenticeship or relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (City & Guilds, BTEC, HNC/HND, or equivalent). Familiarity with CMMS and proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist. You will be responsible for overseeing the creation and execution of maintenance schedules for production machinery, with a focus on maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and controlling maintenance expenses. You will also ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up-to-date, technically accurate, and aligned with the current maintenance programme. Additionally, you will guarantee that all regulatory and audit standards within the engineering department are fully adhered to. Supervise third-party contractors, ensuring all necessary documentation, such as risk assessments and method statements, is in place before work begins on site.
