We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading company in Northern Ireland. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership to the maintenance team to ensure that plant and equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
- Instil root cause analysis techniques to breakdowns; implement corrective action plans and/or contingency plans and communicate to the site management team.
- Ownership of planned maintenance schedules for manufacturing equipment to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and optimise maintenance costs.
- Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are current, technically correct, and up to date and reflect current planned maintenance program.
- Ensure that all regulatory and audit requirements associated with the engineering department are met.
- Ensure compliance to Health, Safety and Environmental regulations and policies pertaining to the maintenance department.
- Establish 3rd party service contracts and service level agreements for site utility systems.
- Management of 3rd party contractors ensuring risk assessments, method statements and all additional information is provided prior to commencement of work on-site.
- Qualified in a relevant plant engineering discipline (City & Guilds, BTEC or Degree).
- Minimum of 3+ years post apprenticeship experience or 1 years post graduate experience.
- Strong computer skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with the ability to generate reports.
