About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse or Pharmacist Prescriber to join our team at Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals struggling with substance use and addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescribe medications for opiate substitute treatment (OST) interventions, benzodiazepine reductions, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications.
  • Conduct health care assessments, administer detoxification medication, and provide Blood Borne Virus (BBV) screening and vaccinations.
  • Work closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services to provide comprehensive care.
  • Attend local prescribers meetings, one-to-one clinical supervision, and national prescriber/clinician meetings to stay up-to-date with best practices and network with colleagues.

Person Specification
  • Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council or a qualified Pharmacist and already a qualified independent prescriber.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to develop creative and flexible support packages.
  • A deep level of empathy, understanding, and patience, with a genuine interest in helping individuals with different needs.
