Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse or Pharmacist Prescriber to join our Lincolnshire Recovery Service team. As an NMP or Pharmacist Prescriber, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to change their lives by providing high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will be involved in opiate substitute treatment (OST) interventions, benzodiazepine reductions, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications. You will also provide health care assessments, administer detoxification medication, and complete assessments. Additionally, you will work closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services to create a collaborative approach.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered Nurse or Pharmacist with the Nursing & Midwifery Council or General Pharmaceutical Council, respectively. You must also have experience as an independent prescriber and be confident in managing all aspects of prescribing for opiates and managing alcohol detoxifications.
