Education Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Education Support Worker at Wessex Lodge School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with complex needs, including Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Non-Verbal and Pre-Verbal and Communicational difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to students with complex needs, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Assist with personal care duties, including toileting, feeding, and administering medication, as required.
- Participate in Forest school, outdoor activities, and adventure activities, promoting a love of learning and exploration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of THRIVE approach, supporting students to achieve their full potential.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Full Manual Driving Licence.Proven experience of working with pupils in an educational setting and working with autistic pupils.GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside.We are committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students and all applicants will be subject to social media checks and a fully enhanced DBS check.
