This is a pivotal role for the organisation, contributing to the strategic direction and operational management of the charity. The successful candidate will be a member of the Senior Management Team, working closely with the leadership to drive the charity's mission forward.
The Head of Income Generation and Communications will be responsible for leading and delivering on income generation and associated activities, including fundraising, corporate engagement, marketing, networking, and relationship management. They will also develop and implement effective external communications strategies, including digital campaigns to generate donations and corporate giving.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading on income generation and external communications, with experience in developing and implementing successful fundraising and marketing campaigns. They will be a strategic thinker, with excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the team to achieve the charity's goals.
This is a permanent role, paying a salary of £50,000 FTE per annum. The postholder will be working in a hybrid model from the charity's offices in High Wycombe, with the option to work part-time (30 hours) if preferred.
The charity provides services that promote wellbeing and recovery, prevent mental ill health, offer talking therapies, and provide support in times of crisis. They are part of a network of over 100 local branches, which provide trusted and innovative mental health services to their communities.
The charity is an independent charity, affiliated with the national group, and is celebrating its 110th anniversary this year. They have a recently refreshed strategy, and this is an exciting time to join the organisation and champion mental health.
