Job Description

TPF Recruitment is supporting an excellent chartered accountancy practice in seeking an Accounts Manager to join their team. The practice is an independent firm of chartered accountants.

  • Manage a varied client portfolio, comprising sole traders, partnerships, and Ltd companies.
  • Prepare statutory accounts, income and expenditure accounts, and oversee bookkeeping and organisation of accounting records.
  • Review and prepare VAT returns, personal and corporate tax returns, and provide excellent service to clients.
  • Work closely with the senior management team, supporting Partners with projects and contributing to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years experience within practice.
  • Experience as a Team Leader/Client Manager/Manager within a practice environment, with hands-on experience of accounts, management accounts, tax, and VAT.
Key Benefits
  • A competitive salary range of £50,000 - £60,000, based on experience and qualification.
