Job Title: Space Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Space Planning Specialist to join our team at Dalkia UK. As a key member of our Sizewell C site management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient use of space and facilities across the estate.

Your primary responsibility will be to plan and coordinate the internal design and layout of new and existing buildings, guaranteeing a safe and productive environment for employees.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with computer-aided design/drafting software, AutoCAD, or similar, and possess expert knowledge of CAD software. You should also be familiar with various collaboration tools, including videoconferencing and mobile technology.

Salary: £38,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with internal design and provide guidance on office refurbishment and expansions
  • Plan project requirements by developing construction drawings and details
  • Perform design review, value engineering, and construction management for all in-house projects
  • Maintain high standards and ensure accuracy in planograms based on supplied information and Merchandising Guidelines
  • Contribute to product merchandising per store by creating planograms based on assortment plans, new products, and seasonal sets provided by management
  • Analyse business issues, category trends, and presentation opportunities
  • Ensure product flow and adjacencies across each department using MAP assortments, collaborate with RACMS to develop approved floor layouts and department flow
  • Create and build new planograms and space plans
  • Maintain electronic and paper records, including reports, in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with Managers and Finance to support financial processes related to the contract and coordinate additional costs with suppliers or subcontractors
  • Manage queries from internal and external customers and clients through to resolution
