**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Portfolio Manager to join our Commercial Asset Management team at The Portman Estate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving performance of our directly managed offices, focusing on reducing vacancy, delivering long-term income growth, and increasing tenant retention rates through developing strong occupier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To extract added value and maintain/improve income from our office portfolio and other sector assets as required.
  • To prioritise excellent customer service in all aspects of day-to-day asset management, ensuring that Landlord and Tenant interactions align with our ethos and values.
  • To contribute to formulating long- and short-term strategies, together with performance reviews, to ensure profitable growth of our assets.
  • To conduct detailed analysis of office portfolio performance, attributing costs and income on a unit-by-unit basis, and identifying performance drivers.
  • To work with internal teams and external advisors to assess net operating income of the portfolio.
  • To provide oversight and report to the Board on performance of operating partners providing serviced office space.
  • To progress lease events such as rent reviews and lease renewals across the directly managed office portfolio, initiating negotiations in a timely and professional manner.
  • To provide valuation and investment advice on relevant assets within your area of responsibility.
  • To liaise with Building Surveyors regarding works, dilapidations, and wants of repair.
  • To prepare annual budgets for properties within the office portfolio.
  • To liaise with the Credit Control Manager regarding rent collection and assist in recovering arrears.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of the London office leasing market.
  • Recent experience of the London office leasing market.
  • A working knowledge of the flex office market.
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle sensitive data.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Estimated Salary: Up to £70,000 depending on experience.
